  • Nimbus has released a shared roadmap for the next 6 months focused on coordinating testing.
  • Greg Markou (Chainsafe) has kickstarted an initiative (blog announcement) to get ETH 1.x tooling transitioning over to ETH 2.0 land. Join the Discord here.
  • New post from Vitalik entitled “A layer-1-minimizing phase 2 state execution proposal” proposes changes whereby the beacon chain would function with a “relatively minimal consensus-layer framework.” Follow the discussion here on
  • Justin is exploring an increase to slot duration from 6 to 8-12 seconds. Would allow removal of minimum attestation delay; would not increase the time to finality if other corresponding parameters are increased to compensate.
  • There will be an implementers meeting in during NYC Blockchain Week focused on interoperability. Sign up here if interested.
  • IPFScon in Barcelona (June 27) will have a dedicated LIBp2p track. Contact Raúl Kripalani for details.
