What am I passionate about? My secret is I'm always passionate...

I was having a conversation with fellow board members (of a local tech-community non-profit) a couple of weeks ago about a conversation that was happening in our community Slack channel. One of the members, a really good friend of mine, said “Andrew… I think I know your secret… you are like the Hulk, but instead of anger it is passion… your secret is that you are always passionate”. 😂

I like that story because it illuminates at least a partial truth. If there is a topic about fairness, systems, or potential realization, I get into it.

This specific topic was “should companies post their salaries in their job posts”. But it could be anything from raising kids, concepts like growth mindset, entrepreneurship, who has the best chicken tortilla soup, ShapeUp and Empowered Product teams and if they are mutually exclusive, or what is the best song in Hamilton.

I am a big believer in having strong opinions, but weakly held. So, even though I’m passionate about a lot, I aspire to always be open to changing my perspective.
