This is the slightly expanded motto of the excellent SVPG’s Product Operating Model.

The cVd interpretation leans more heavily into the Continuous Learning Validation as opposed to Pre-validation (as described in Three Categories of Product Investment). Neither are better or worse… they are simply different tools to accomplish the same end.
